As a member of the RWDI Group of Companies, Motioneering Inc. specializes in the field of applied structural dynamics, motion control, and design & construction of damping systems. We have over 25 years of global experience implementing these unique and challenging projects from concept to completion.

Do you have the knack for coming up with creative solutions to mechanical engineering challenges?  Do you inspire team members and enjoy working with a diverse engineering team?  Motioneering is looking for an experienced Intermediate/Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive hands-on experience to help grow our world-wide damping services.   

This role includes but is not limited to:

  • Solving challenging engineering problems in consultation with engineering, architectural and industrial clients,

  • Planning and coordinating technical aspects of assigned projects including conceptual through detail design, fabrication and testing,

  • Ability to complete strength-of-materials hand calculations including stress, deflection, buckling, fatigue, weld sizing etc., 

  • The generation of 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks,

  • Performing FEA analysis using SolidWorks Simulation on complicated assemblies,

  • Mentor junior team members,

  • Comfortable with basic data acquisition (instrumentation setup, troubleshooting, data validation, etc.)

  • Occasional international travel to job sites will be required.  Site work could include working at heights and confined spaces (regular training provided).
